Colorduino is a magic RGB LED dot-matrix driver compatible with Arduino. Colorduino pairs the M54564 with a single DM163 constant current driver. By using the DM163, Colorduino gains three 8+6-bit channels of hardware PWM control of the LED's freeing up the MCU from having to implement it in software. This gives the ATmega328 more CPU bandwidth for performing other tasks. Colorduino is easy to cascade by IIC and Power interface.

Colorduino can be used as a 8x8 RGB LED dot-matrix driver and it has very good compatibility with Arduino. The Colorduino has a LED professional driver which gives the Colorduino three 8+6 bits channels of pure hardware PWM which controls the LEDs. This indeed enables the ATmega328 or ATmega168 with more CPU bandwidth that can be utilized for other tasks. It’s easy for the Colorduino to be cascaded together by I2C and the power supply. It provides a wide range of colors on the RGB LED dot matrix which is a remarkable feature.
